About Kenneth

A career built on service, discipline, and altitude

Kenneth E. Morris is a U.S. Navy veteran whose service is recognized with the NATO Medal, the Kosovo Air Campaign Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He carried that discipline into civilian aviation as Founding Director of Education and Outreach at the $40M Lone Star Flight Museum, and then into the cockpit as a pilot cadet in the U.S. Department of Transportation's Forces to Flyers program.

Today he flies, writes, speaks, and mentors nationally and internationally — serving on the board of STEM Flights, contributing to the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, and joining Bridgewater University's aviation board.

In his words

The philosophy behind the flight plan

Drawn from Kenneth's interviews, keynotes, and his writing for young aviators.

If young people can see themselves in aviation, they can authentically be themselves in aviation.

Challenges became my runway, not my roadblock.

You don't have to come from a legacy to leave one. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to break the pattern — and fly anyway.
